Description

Automation Engineer – PLC Diagnostics & Support


Location: M62 Corridor – Runcorn, St Helens, Warrington, Altrincham, Salford, Manchester, Huddersfield
Salary: £44,000 base + paid overtime + out-of-hours pay + profit share
Total Package: £54,000–£55,000 + £5,000 car allowance + benefits
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Driving Licence: Required
Sponsorship: Not available for UK work permits


The Role


Put your PLC software diagnostics skills to work in a role where no two days are the same. You’ll be working with a variety of manufacturers, identifying and resolving faults in PLC, HMI, and SCADA-controlled systems. The diversity of systems and challenges will stretch your skills and keep the work engaging.


About You



  • Comfortable working with PLC platforms such as Rockwell Automation / Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, and others

  • Enjoy solving industrial automation issues

  • Possibly already working in-house as an Automation Engineer and looking to expand your experience

  • Motivated by variety and technical challenges


What’s on Offer



  • Competitive base salary of around £44,000

  • Paid overtime and additional compensation for out-of-hours work

Ideal Location


Candidates based along the M62 corridor are ideally placed for customer site access. Locations such as Runcorn, St Helens, Warrington, Altrincham, Salford, Manchester, and Huddersfield are all suitable.
